Creekside Steakhouse & Historic Tavern is located in the little village of Christopher Creek. Christopher Creek, at an elevation of 5,900 feet, is just 22 miles east of Payson and is nestled below the majestic Mogollon Rim on the banks of spring fed Christopher Creek.
Located among the worlds largest stand of Ponderosa pines, the pure air smells of pine. Wildlife of all kind live and wonder around this rugged area and it isn't uncommon to see Elk, Deer, Wild Turkey, Squirrels, roaming the countryside. Christopher Creek is for people who want to hear the wind in the forest, the rushing water of our prestine creek tumbling over small falls or the bugle of an Rocky Mountain Elk.

The Restaurant & Tavern has been around almost 44 years and from humble beginnings, it has grown to be listed in the book "Arizona's 100 Best Restaurants."
